The production of high quality, safe foods is of prime importance to the success of the chilled food industry.
To this end ECFF has prepared the first European Recommendations for the Production of Prepackaged Chilled Food. These guidelines are the backbone of industry self-regulation in Europe and have been distributed widely within the industry and to national and EU authorities.
ECFF’s activities address all aspects of the chilled food chain. Its technical expertise is harnessed through ad hoc working parties who produce advice and specialist reports on items of interest to members.
